451. Recipe and How to Make Cheese Hong Kong Cake - Oriental Foods

Alhamdullilah Can Be Coming Back and Greeting all friends, even though I am on holiday now I don't go anywhere, knowing that at the end of the month the financials are thinning so yes to fill in the blanks when I will create the Cheese Hong Kong Cake which is certainly delicious and satisfying.

Ingredients for Making Cheese Hong Kong Cake

For 4 servings
Ingredient A:

  • 4 btr egg yolks
  • 30 gr fine granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cake emulsifier
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla paste


Ingredient B:

  • 4 btr egg white
  • 1/4 teaspoon of fine salt
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice or 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar
  • 50 gr fine granulated sugar


Ingredient C:

  • 60 grams of low protein flour
  • 10 grams of cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


Ingredient D:

  • 50 gr butter / margarine, melt
  • 30 grams of finely grated cheddar cheese
  • Topping material:
  • Grated cheddar cheese


Steps to Make Cheese Hong Kong Cake

Time to make 60 minutes

  1. Prepare and weigh the ingredients according to the recipe. Heat the oven to 180 dercel. Prepare paper cup & baking sheet.
  2. Ingredients A. Beat egg yolks, emulsifiers, and sugar until thick. Add liquid milk and vanilla ice cream, mix well, set aside.
  3. Ingredient B. Beat egg white, salt, and lime juice / cream of tartar until foamy. Enter the sugar gradually, shake continuously until it expands (stiff peak).
  4. Enter the beaten egg yolks while continuing to shake with low speed just as long as it is evenly mixed, turn off the mixer.
  5. Add ingredients C while sifting and stirring slowly. Add grated cheddar cheese, mix well.
  6. Add the butter / liquid margarine, mix well with the stirring technique using a spatula.
  7. Pour the mixture into the cup until it's almost full. Sprinkle with topping ingredients.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cake is golden yellow and cooked. Always do a puncture test to find out the cake's maturity.
  9. Remove from oven and leave until hot steam disappears.
  10. As a result, Hong Kong Cheese Bolu is ready to be served.
