- Chicken 1 chicken, cut 8
- Big 5 tailed squid
- 3 bh know white
- 1 egg white
- Milled seasoning:
- 10 Garlic grains
- 20 red onions
- Red chillies 3 pieces of seeds
- 15 pecan (roasted)
- 2 Galangal segments
- 2 large segments of Turmeric (roasted)
- Ginger 1 medium segment
- 15 pcs Cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground pepper
- 1 tsp Pala powder
- Dried spices:
- 2 bh Pekak
- 5 brings Bay leaves
- 3 lbr. Orange leaves
- 3 Lemongrass stems
- 2 bh Asam kandis
- 1 small piece of cinnamon
- Flavoring (optional)
- Salt
- Santan kara 3pc (triangle)
- Oil for sauteing
- enough water

Steps to cook chicken curry and squid contents
Squid fill tofu:- Smash enough tofu with salt and pepper.
- Add egg whites, mix well.
- Put in squid body. Cover with a toothpick so that the contents do not come out when cooked.
- Steamed 5-10 minutes so that the water from the squid comes out. Set aside steamed squid.
Note:
Do not fill the squid too full because when cooked the squid will shrink.
- Blend all the spices.
- Sauté until fragrant. Enter all spices. Stir well.
- Put the chicken, stir again.
- Add water, boil until tender chicken for 1 hour (if domestic chicken is tender faster)
- Add salt, flavoring. Taste correction.
- Add the coconut milk. Stir well. Add the steamed squid.
- Wait until it boils. Turn off the fire.
- Chicken curry and squid are ready to be served
Note: Squid is intentionally steamed so the curry sauce isn't fishy. The problem is that the husband is a bit "fussy" when it comes to fishy odors in cooking. But if you want to put it directly into curry sauce, you can. Add the squid first before adding coconut milk.
