Recipe: Tapai Cassava Prol - Oriental Foods
Cassava tape is one of my favorite snacks. Taste sweet, legit, soft really spoil the tongue.Tapai Cassava Prol ingredients
For 16 pcs- 300 g cassava tape
- 70 g of wheat flour
- 60 g of sugar
- 90 ml of full cream liquid milk (can be replaced with thick coconut milk)
- 65 g butter / margarine (melt)
- 1 egg (shake it off)
- 30 g of grated cheese for a mixture of dough
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 egg yolk + a few drops of yellow dye (for smearing)
- Toppings: raisins, grated cheese, almonds (optional)

Steps to cook Tapai Cassava Prol
Time to make 50 minutes- Puree the cassava tape using a potato fork / pounder. Dispose of wicks or coarse fiber tape.
- Add sugar, stir until mixed.
- Add flour, grated cheese, liquid milk, vanilla essence. Stir well.
- Add eggs and melted butter, mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a pan that has been marinated with margarine, apply baking paper. I use an 18x18 baking sheet. The bro uses medium heat.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the prol, spread the egg yolks sprinkled with raisins and grated cheese. Continue roasting less than 10 minutes. Stab test.
- The temperature and time of baking can be adjusted with each oven. The oven does not need to be heated because this is the type of cake that does not expand or not, it is not too worried about the temperature of the oven.
