Ingredients
- 1 kg of chicken
- 10 red onion cloves
- 5 garlic cloves
- A handful of curly chili
- A handful of cayenne pepper
- 2 pieces of galangal (photo size)
- 1 piece of turmeric (size of photo clay)
- 1 piece of ginger (size of photo clay)
- 1 piece of kencur (size of photo clay)
- 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds
- 6 pecan nuts
- 2 lemongrass sticks
- 5 leaves of kaffir lime
- 3 tomatoes
- 600 ml of water
- Adequate cooking oil for sautéing
- As much as pepper powder, salt and sugar
Step
- Prepare the ingredients. Blend the spices except for kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass and galangal.
- Saute the spices with enough cooking oil until fragrant and the spices are cooked, about 15-20 minutes. Then add the chicken, mix well.
- Pour the water until the 3/4 chicken is submerged. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the water is left in half.
