Ingredients for cooking Potato Chicken Stews


  • 250 grams of chicken, (3-4 pieces), wash thoroughly, coat lime juice,
  • 1 uk potato. Large, peeled, cut, fried, set aside

  • 1 cm galangal, geprek
  • 1 bay leaf
  • to taste sweet soy sauce
  • to taste salt & sugar
  • enough water
  • a piece of tomato

  • 2 candlenut (my additions)

Steps for cooking Potato Chicken Stews

  • Saute the spices until smooth, add ginger, galangal bay leaves, and chicken (because the chicken is not fried first), mix well until the chicken changes color.
  • Add water, salt, sugar, and soy sauce, mix well, test the taste, add potatoes, cook until the chicken is tender and the sauce shrinks.
