My favorite foods are pepes, especially tofu pepes and puffed pepes ... well, this is one of the recipe for pepes, I know my mainstay, Paksu and my child said that the taste is very similar to Pepes Tofu in the traditional Betawi food stalls we eat

Pepes Tofu ingredients
For 10 servings- 2 large white tofu
- 2 beaten eggs
- according to taste Basil leaves
- according to taste red cayenne pepper thinly sliced
- sufficient salt and flavor / powder broth
- Banana leaves to wrap
Ground spices:
- 5 onion cloves
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of roasted coriander
- 5 pecan roasted

Steps to Make Pepes Tofu
Creation Time 30 minutes- Blend the tofu with a tablespoon, add the spices and mix well
- Put the egg that has been shaken off, basil, red cayenne pepper, salt and flavoring, then mix well
- Pour the tofu mixture onto the banana leaf and roll it while compacted then pin it with a toothpick on the right and left side
- Steamed in a steaming pan until cooked
- Bake for a while until fragrant with teflon or grill pan, ready to eat
- Note: If I roast when I want to eat so it is still warm and fragrant ...... so if there are any leftovers that are steamed it can enter the refrigerator for tomorrow to be roasted when you want to eat
