Sweet Sour Tilapia Fish Recipe - Oriental Foods

This is the first time I cook sweet and sour fish. If there are constructive suggestions or criticism, I invite you.

Ingredients for making sweet sour tilapia fish

  • 1. 1 Tilapia Fish
  • 2. Pineapple (to taste)
  • 3. Carrot (1 piece)
  • 4. Shallot (5 Siung)
  • 5. Garlic (2 Siung)
  • 6. Red Chili / Raw (to taste)
  • 7. Tomato sauce (5 tablespoons) for free sauce wants Tomato / Chili
  • 8. Cornstarch
  • 9. Edible oil
  • 10. Enough water

Steps to cook sweet sour tilapia fish

  1. Clean the fish first. After that, fry the fish that has been smeared with Multipurpose Seasoning flour.
  2. While waiting for the fish to mature. Slice onion, chili.
  3. Cut carrots extending about the size of a little finger. As for pineapple, cut into small pieces like for rujak.
  4. If the fish is cooked, remove and drain the oil. Then, saute onion and garlic. After fragrant enter the chili
  5. Then after that put the sauce into sautéed spices. Followed by tomatoes. Stir it. Then add water about 2 cups.
  6. Dissolve cornstarch with enough water. After that put it into a sauteed spice. Don't forget to include pineapple. Pineapple is included when the water is there so the pineapple is not destroyed. Don't forget to stir so that it's not sticky in the frying pan.
  7. If it's boiling, add the fried fish. Mix and serve. Finished.
