Materials for cooking spicy squid

  • 1/2 kg of fresh squid
  • 10 red chili seeds (cut serong)
  • 1 Pete board peeled and cut into 2 parts


ground spices :

  • 5 garlic
  • 8 onions
  • Long red peppers to taste (I'm 20 seeds)

Steps to cook spicy Calamari Pete

  • Wash the squid, remove ink and cut "according to taste, can add lime to remove fishy smell (I skip)
  • Blend the spices until smooth then stir-fry with a little more oil, until fragrant and add the red peppers and petai, and add spices such as salt, powder stock and sugar (to taste).
  • After the ingredients are slightly cooked, add the squid and stir, wait for the squid to drain. After the squid takes out the water, wait until the water is gone and the only one left is the oil sauce.
