Recipe: Ebi furai (panir flour shrimp) - Oriental Foods

Ingredients for Ebi furai (panir flour shrimp)


  • 500 g of large size shrimp
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp of chili powder, if you like
  • The oil for frying


Layer

  • 50 g of multipurpose wheat flour
  • 1 egg / egg white, shake
  • 100 g panir flour

Steps to Cook Ebi furai (panir flour shrimp)

15 minutes
Remove the shrimp head. Peel the shrimp shell, leave the tail. Wash the shrimp thoroughly under running water.

Split the back of the shrimp (top), remove the blackish dirt. Crate a little shrimp belly (bottom) as much as 3-4 keratan. Gently pull so the shrimp is slightly straight.
 
Smear the shrimp with garlic, salt, pepper and chili powder. Set aside at least 15 minutes so the seasoning permeates.

Smear seasoned shrimp with flour. Dip it into a beaten egg. Roll into panir flour. Do the same until the shrimp runs out.
 
Heat a lot of cooking oil over medium heat. Fry the shrimp gradually until the golden yellow panir flour layer. Lift and drain. Serve warm with mayonnaise and chili / tomato sauce.
