Recipe: Soft Potato Mud Cake - Oriental Foods
This is one of my bakulan. The sweetness is right, soft and melted when bitten. Guaranteed, consumers like;) Recipes are adapted from Ibu Fatmah NCC's mud cake recipe.
Soft Potato Mud Cake Ingredients
- 500 grams of sugar
- 5 btr egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp vanilli
- 1 kg of steamed potatoes, puree
- 500 grams of flour
- 1 lt coconut milk
- 200 grams of margarine, thawed
- Optional: Sufficient dates, sliced for decoration

Steps to Cook Soft Potato Mud Cake
- Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla with a mixer until thick.
- Enter alternately: flour, smooth potatoes and coconut milk while dimixer low speed
- After mixing, turn off the mixer. Add liquid margarine, mix well with a spatula
- Heat the mud cake mold. Pour the mixture, bake for 20 minutes (depending on the heat of the mold and the stove). Cover the mold.
- When it is half cooked, give the dates on top. Then continue to bake until cooked.
- Fragrance Wait for cold if you want to pack it
- The result is approximately 55 pcs with a mold diameter of 7cm.
